Jessica "is one crazy artist… created out of an Alice in Wonderland like existence, where sausages can grow to four feet long and cars can shrink to fit into a sardine tin." Jessica has been working as a practising artist since graduating in 1991 and as a self-employed community artist since moving to Milton Keynes in 1996.

She is best known for her large-scale 'car sculpture', pieces of which have travelled around the country from Ely Cathedral to Milton Keynes Shopping Centre. In 2002 Jessica was commissioned to create a car sculpture for Cork Midsummer Festival in Ireland.

Jessica has travelled with her work, exhibiting and taking part in Art Festivals and Symposia in Lithuania, Germany, Ireland and Italy.

She runs master classes from her studio at Westbury Farm and as a member of The -Silbury Group of Artists, has co-ordinated and managed several art events, group exhibitions and workshop programmes, including the biannual International Artists Symposium, which began in 2000.

She has been a lecturer of Fine Art and Sculpture at Milton Keynes College since 1999, where she teaches ABC Foundation students, life drawing, experimental drawing and sculpture and has experience of working with a range of students on various other courses including G.N.V.Q, Adult Education, Education support, Severe learning difficulties and special needs. She has been involved in several school "arts weeks", "workshops" and "artist in residence" schemes, including: Stowe School in Buckingham, Kempston Summer School in Bedford and Macintyre School in Wingrave.

As a community artist, she has also undertaken many public commissions, working with various groups and in collaboration with different art organisations, painting murals, making banners, creating living sculptures, installations, doing public performance to name but a few.

For the last three years Jessica has been contracted by Interaction, based in Milton Keynes, as a carnival leader to work with local schools, creating costumes for the various local carnivals.
